About Tim Sonefelt

Tim Sonefelt has been presenting educational programs for school audiences for over a decade. Due to the way he seamlessly ties educational content to his presentations, he's often asked how long he spent as a classroom teacher. While he never actually taught, he was a student for sixteen years! Tim regards this question as the highest complement he ever receives. In the Fall of 2009, he launched a program called "Shadows: casting light on grave tales," for teens, young adult and adult audiences. While popular in libraries and other venues, it was never offered to schools. During those presentations, many encouraged Tim to produce a show that was strictly "Carolina Tales." In May of 2012, Carolina Shadows was born. Extremely popular in public libraries for teen, young adult and occasionally even adult groups that summer, the decision was made to offer Carolina Shadows to schools that fall. We're confident that Carolina Shadows will captivate even the most skeptical middle or high school audience. Keep an eye out for "More Carolina Shadows" coming soon, along with the book, Carolina Shadows.

Tim Sonefelt is an outstanding special guest. He grabs everyone’s attention and holds it until the end of the program. The stories were wonderful and the artifacts added a unique touch.
