Put on your imagination caps as we travel back to a time where princes, princesses and magic chickens abound! But this isn't just any trip because our means of travel is through books! That's right, we'll travel to the land of Once Upon a Time through the medium of children's literature!
This program was created to get your students excited about books and reading! The assembly is jam-packed with excitement, audience participation, music, comedy, book talks, story telling, magic and more. On top of that, it's entirely based on children's books!
Highlights from this interactive program include: A student becomes a Princess as we explore Princess Smartypants and The Princess Academy; Students help re-create the story of C.S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe; A moving and inspirational finale as Tim shares how the library truly is a 'magical place!'
