Program Pricing |
Our Educational Assembly Programs are billed by the day, not the number of programs. The educational impact of our programs is better in smaller groups. Our pricing structure encourages smaller groups so your students benefit more from our visits.
Other types of programs we offer (family-night/evening, after-school and public libraries) are billed on a per program basis
Depending on how far we need to travel to your school, there are mileage fees based on the map below. However, we are willing to waive some or even all of the mileage fee if you help us schedule a program in a nearby school. Read more about grouping below.
Fee reductions are available for offering book sales to your students. Save as much as $100! See the book sales section below!
Program Fees
Half-Day = $600 (1-2 assembly programs)
Full Day = $900 (3-4 assembly programs) (split the day for just $450 each!)
Evening/Family-Night = $375 (1 program after 6pm) +
After-School = $375 (1 program between 3 & 6pm) +
Public Libraries= $325 (1 program when school is out) *
+ To qualify for this reduced rate, Evening/Family-Night and After-School programs require at least a half-day of programs scheduled at the same or a nearby school on the same day.
* Additional presentations of the same program, back to back on the same day in the same location are just $175 each. Additional programs must start within one hour of the end of the first program to qualify for the discount.
Full Days
The fee for a full day (3-4 presentations) is $900. Many schools schedule a full day in order to have smaller groups for each presentation. This is beneficial for the students.
Not only is this better for the students, it is also cost effective. Since we don't charge per presentation you can schedule up to four presentations of the same program on one day.
With smaller groups in each assembly, some schools can even hold the programs in the library or media center. This is another benefit since scheduling around lunch is no longer a concern.
Split a Full Day
A full day booking can also be split between two area schools. For instance, Tim could present two assemblies at your school in the morning and two assemblies at a different close by school in the afternoon. Each school would only pay $450 each. This allows each school to save $150 off the half day rate. To qualify for a full day split, both schools must schedule the same program.
Half Days
The fee for a half day (1-2 presentations) is $600. Schools scheduling a half day usually have two presentations: one for the lower grades (K-2) and one for the upper grades (3-5). This allows the content of the program to remain age appropriate.
Save BIG With Grouping
Occasionally I'll have another booking - either a full or half-day in your area. Often you can save some or all of the travel fees by booking on these or adjacent dates. Also I occasionally have evenings scheduled in certain areas. You can save on the travel by scheduling on these days as well.
You can also group with other schools in your area, combining back-to-back days, or splitting full-days.
We recommend that you contact other schools in your area or district, or even on your list serv and inquire about others splitting the day with you, or booking on an adjacent day. You can save considerably by simply sending an email!

Book Sales
By offering our books to your students, you can save valuable funds on our program fees. To see our books just click the 'Books' tab above. The savings you receive depend upon whether you schedule a full or half day of programs. If you're scheduling a half day, you save $50 and if you're scheduling a full day, you save $100!
Facilitating our book sales is EASY! We'll send you a master copy of the order form to send home with your students. Simply collect these and turn them in to me on the day of your programs. We'll autograph the books and leave them with you the very same day of our visit! It couldn't be easier. Plus if you ask, we'll even replace the paper you use for copying the forms!
Public Library Programs
Each year I write a new educationally significant program to correspond with the Summer Reading Theme. This theme is usually the same for SC, NC and GA. Every Creative School Program is fun, interactive and encourage children to read and use the Dewey Decimal System. Summer Reading dates can book up to 15 months in advance. Also, during the summer, the only program available is the 'summer show' that was written to correspond with the Summer Reading Theme. Pricing for public libraries is above and as with our school programs, discounts are available for group bookings as well as savings on travel.

I am based in Anderson, SC. I've tried to make the travel fees as simple and straightforward as possible. The travel fees listed below include all gas/mileage, food and lodging expenses. I'm happy to tell you that many of my schools NEVER pay any travel fees! You can also opt out of paying travel fees! Just call the office and ask how.
